Pickleball America Ambassador

We are looking for Pickleball America Ambassadors to join our team! Pickleball America seeks energetic, fun, and flexible individuals who value an active, healthy lifestyle and want to be part of a growing organization. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, outgoing, and has experience in a similar industry, hospitality, or any service-oriented business.

The Pickleball America Ambassador will play an integral role in helping to increase the popularity of the sport and serve as a representative of our brand and business.As an Ambassador, your primary goal is to ensure that all members and guests maximize their experience while continuously building and sustaining relationships with current and prospective members. You will provide exceptional customer service, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and build loyalty among members.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate as the first point of contact for members, guests, and corporate clients.
Play a key role in the members’ experience by providing exceptional customer service and promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Meet key performance sales indicators, including package offerings, memberships, and renewals, and ensure members maximize their experience.
Learn the ins and outs of the facility to be able to provide a thorough and complete tour to prospective members to make them comfortable with the facility.
Promote membership and use of venue for special events.
Receive and facilitate incoming phone calls from members and guests.
Assess members’ skill level and make introductions to the appropriate professionals.
Remain current on the latest developments in the sport of pickleball.
Follow up and touch base with members and manage experience.

Required Qualifications:

Hospitality/service industry experience.
A confident self-starter & sports enthusiast.
A “people person” with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience playing pickleball or a similar sport- helpful
Experience with Point-of-Salesoftware and Microsoft Office – helpful

Pickleball America is set to become one of the largest indoor pickleball venues in the US! It was created by four local Stamford professionals who wanted to launch a center focused on pickleball. With lockers, showers, a lounge, and a café, the venue will offer private and group instruction, facilitate league play, and be open 7 days per week.Pickleball America’s mission is to unite players of all skill levels and to create a facility that promotes fun and healthy socializing through sports.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating content in all forms, from graphic design to email campaigns to social media posts.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing content for our social media accounts, designing email campaigns, and creating graphic design for various projects. You should be able to create visually appealing and engaging content while following brand guidelines. You should also be familiar with the latest graphic design software and be comfortable using it in your work.
