Privacy Policy

Pickleball America, LLC, doing business as Pickleball America, operates at 140 Atlantic Street, Stamford, Connecticut 06901. This policy explains information collected through this website and its connected services. It also describes the photography and wireless-network provisions in our venue policies.

Information you provide

When you contact us by email, phone or the event inquiry form, you provide contact details and information about your request. Our event form uses Tripleseat to collect the fields you submit, including your name, email address, phone number and event details. These details are used to respond to your inquiry and coordinate your event.

CourtReserve handles court bookings, memberships, program registration and account sign-in. Information provided through those services may include account details, reservations and transaction records. Gift Up handles gift-card purchases and delivery, including purchaser and recipient details and checkout information. Payment details are entered through the relevant provider’s checkout rather than a payment form operated by this website.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in an ordinary inquiry. Contact our staff with questions about information required for a booking, waiver or junior program.

Information collected by website services

Website services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and interactions when their content loads or you use their features.

  • Tripleseat: event inquiries and event coordination.
  • CourtReserve: bookings, memberships, accounts, registrations and embedded schedules.
  • Gift Up: gift-card checkout and delivery.
  • Google: embedded Maps, reCAPTCHA protection for the event form, and Tag Manager where enabled.
  • Cloudflare: delivery of the website.

The website uses Google Tag Manager to manage tags. Analytics services, when enabled, may measure page visits, devices, traffic sources and interactions with booking or inquiry links. See Google’s privacy policy below for information about its processing and available controls.

Embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Google reCAPTCHA helps distinguish people from automated traffic; blocking it may prevent the event form from being submitted.

Service providers and their policies

Our staff and the services involved in your request receive the information needed to handle that request. A provider’s policy describes its own processing; it does not replace Pickleball America’s responsibilities for information used to manage your booking or inquiry.

Photography at the venue

Our Rules & Policies contain a photography and video provision granting Pickleball America broad rights to use images, including for commercial and promotional purposes on social media, without additional consent or compensation. Read that provision before participating at the venue.

Professional photography requires advance written approval. Personal photography is permitted only in public areas; cameras and photography are prohibited in locker rooms and restrooms. Contact us with questions about an image or its use.

Venue Wi-Fi

The wireless-network section of our Rules & Policies states that Pickleball America may record network-usage information and use or disclose it, when appropriate, to comply with the law or protect its rights, property or safety. The network is provided as is, and the policy does not promise that the connection is secure.

Records and retention

Inquiry, account, booking and gift-card records are handled through the relevant services described above. The supplied venue policies do not specify retention periods for those records. Contact us for information about a particular record, its retention or a deletion request. A request concerning your Pickleball America account should be directed to us, even when the account is managed through CourtReserve.

Your choices and requests

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, use direct booking links instead of embedded schedules, or contact us by phone or email instead of submitting an event inquiry online. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or embedded services may affect their functionality.

For questions about access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, email [email protected]. Describe the request and the service or record involved. Rights and exceptions depend on the law applicable to your request; we may need to verify your identity before handling it. If you wish to challenge a response, reply to the same address and explain your concern.

Children and junior programs

Junior-program registration uses CourtReserve. Parents and guardians should coordinate registration and waiver requirements with our staff, and use their own contact details for inquiries about a child’s participation. Our supplied liability waiver includes consent for a signer’s children, where applicable.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us so we can investigate and address the record. Do not send a child’s sensitive information through the general event inquiry form.

Security

This website uses HTTPS. Forms, accounts and checkouts rely on the providers described above, rather than a database maintained by this static website. No online transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
