Terms of Use

1. Website and venue agreements
This website is operated by Pickleball America, LLC, doing business as Pickleball America, in Stamford, Connecticut. You may use it to learn about the venue, contact us and access booking services. Use forms and services for their intended purposes and provide accurate information.
Venue participation is subject to our Rules & Policies, the Liability Waiver, and any applicable membership, program or event agreement. The summaries below help you find key provisions; the full documents contain the complete terms. Browsing this website does not sign the liability waiver.
2. Accounts, minors and website conduct
CourtReserve manages accounts and registration. Follow its account requirements and protect your sign-in details. Parents and guardians should coordinate junior-program registration and applicable waiver requirements with our staff.
Do not use this website to send unlawful, misleading or abusive content, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls or attempt unauthorized access.
3. Court reservations
Our published rules require pickleball courts to be reserved in advance through the website or CourtReserve. Members may reserve up to 14 days ahead; guests may reserve up to 3 days ahead. Specific court numbers may be requested but are not guaranteed, and court assignments may change.
4. Cancellations and credits
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance through CourtReserve or its app. Under the published cancellation policy, an account is not credited for a later cancellation, and there are no make-ups for missed clinics or sessions.
Pickleball America may cancel a class or clinic because of insufficient registration before the first class of the session. Appropriate credits are added to your Pickleball America account regardless of the original payment method. Those credits have no expiration date.
5. Private events
An event inquiry starts a conversation; it does not reserve a date, book a space or create an event agreement. A private event is confirmed when a deposit is received. All private-event bookings must be arranged through our event coordinator, Francine. Your event agreement contains the terms specific to your event.
6. Gift cards
Gift cards are purchased and delivered through Gift Up. They can be used toward open play, court rentals, memberships, lessons, clinics, events and merchandise.
- Gift cards are one-time use. Any remaining balance becomes credit on the recipient’s Pickleball America account.
- Gift cards and account credits never expire.
- Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.
- Lost or stolen gift cards are not replaced without valid proof of purchase.
- Gift cards are non-transferable and may not be resold.
7. Conduct and safety at the venue
Our rules require respectful conduct and good sportsmanship. Shirts and proper tennis or pickleball shoes are required. Food, gum, candy and drinks are prohibited on the courts except for water or sports drinks.
The rules prohibit weapons, illegal drugs, smoking and the specified tobacco, marijuana and electronic-cigarette products on the premises. Alcohol requires legal drinking age and valid identification, and must be consumed responsibly. Do not participate when illness, exposure to a communicable illness or medication effects create a safety risk.
Report an injury to staff immediately. The rules address personal property, facility damage, permitted animals and other safety requirements. Violations may result in removal, suspension or termination of access as described in the full document.
8. Photography, video and Wi-Fi
Professional photography requires advance written approval; personal photography is allowed only in public areas. Photography and cameras are prohibited in locker rooms and restrooms.
The published rules contain a broad image-use permission for venue participation, including commercial and promotional use without additional consent or compensation. The wireless-network provisions address acceptable use, information recording, security disclaimers and responsibility for network use. Read both sections in the Rules & Policies.
9. Participation risks and the signed waiver
The supplied Liability Waiver describes risks associated with the courts, equipment, activities and premises. It includes acknowledgment of physical and mental fitness, assumption of risk, a release of claims including specified negligence claims, and defense and indemnification provisions for the signer and their children where applicable.
Read the full waiver carefully before signing. This page does not replace the waiver, expand its scope or create a separate website liability cap. Questions about participation or the waiver should be addressed to staff before you use the facilities.
10. Availability, prices and closures
Programs, schedules, prices and availability may change. Review the information and terms presented when booking or purchasing, and contact us about any discrepancy before completing the transaction.
The published rules allow areas or the entire facility to close or restrict access without advance notice, including for maintenance, construction, health or safety reasons. Closure updates may be posted on the website.
11. Website content and third-party services
Website text, photographs, logos and other content belong to Pickleball America or their respective owners. Obtain permission before copying or reusing them. Linked press coverage belongs to the publications that produced it.
CourtReserve provides bookings, memberships and schedules; Tripleseat provides event inquiries; Gift Up provides gift-card checkout; Google provides Maps and reCAPTCHA. Their services have their own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for information about website data handling.
We aim to keep website information accurate and available, but it may contain errors or become out of date. Contact us to confirm information relevant to a booking or purchase.
12. Complaints and contact
The Rules & Policies require venue complaints and protests to be made in writing, addressed to the General Manager and signed by the person making the complaint. The document describes management’s review and disciplinary procedures.
